Meet Franklin
Franklin’s Flight Map
Biography & Adoption
Franklin is a Chinchilla Dutch rabbit who began his life of adventure at a very young age. Adopted with a spirit for exploration, he quickly adapted to the unique lifestyle of his mom, a Nurse Practitioner serving Alaska’s most remote communities. From his early days, it was clear that Franklin wasn’t just a house pet—he was a traveler.
The First Flight: A Saab to St. Paul
Franklin’s aviation career started when he was just 7 weeks old. His very first Alaska flight was a journey across the Bering Sea to St. Paul Island. Traveling in a Saab aircraft, the young bunny handled the engine noise and cabin pressure like a seasoned pro. While many pets might find their first flight stressful, Franklin did incredibly well, setting the stage for the thousands of miles he would eventually log across the Last Frontier.
